hello again. not much to say today - just one simple question - who out there wants to bet that when jimmy carter dies he won't get half of the party that reagan is getting? if the true reason is that reagan deserves this because he was a president and presidents deserve this respect (which i believe), then we should expect the same for jimmy . . . yet something inside me tells me that it won't happen. well, maybe it's b/c jimmy has done so much better in his post-president life, maybe he's not a good comparison to reagan, who served 2 two terms . . . but what about bill clinton? i think that you can very easily compare the two of them (not on an ideological base, of course). do we think bill will get the same treatment? if bill kicks the bucket will monica be forgotten about and not mentioned? will national health care fade away from the national consciousness? will the world only remember the positives of bill and be filled with a week's worth of backlit beauty shots and fond remebrance documentaries about the great love that he and hillary shared? again - questionable . . .
