hey all. sorry it's been a long time coming in the blog world - i know people must be getting anxious with the RNCC going on and all. This is usually the point in the campaign where the other side starts gaining points, and democrats start freaking out. We then invalidate our own candidate and cause ourselves to plummet in the polls. do the world a favor, don't follow this routine. while the poll numbers may not look as great as they did a month ago try to remember that's in RNCC week and of course bush is going to look better right now than he normally does. expect him to get a bounce in the polls - don't worry about it! his poll numbers are still lower than an incumbents should be, by a very large margin. so yes, even if the race evens out - it is still un heard of for an incumbent to be even with a challenger with two months still to go! don't abandon ship or freak out - this election is too important. so the next time you hear someone say "i don't know, kerry isn't looking so good anymore" correct them and tell them "no worries, we'll pull it out" the more we come together on this the better. in the end worrying and negative thinking will not win the white house (much to the chagrin of the republicans).
