hello world. things are slow at work and i realized i haven't blogged in a few days! so no worries - i'm back. after a quiet and brutal bout with sickness (as is usual everytime my life slows down to much) i got back on my feet yesterday to see dodgeball. it was good for what it was - and i support lance in his quest to become mainstream (i guess), although i did enjoy the days when i could be a lance/tour fan and not be trendy . . . tonight i'm off to a showing of Orwell Rolls in His Grave, showing at AFI Silver - and free - thanks to Mitch Biersner and the good people at AFI who hired him!
and for all you political nerds . . . did you miss part of the convention? were you forced to work during obama's amazing speech (like yours truly?) or do you just wish you could re-live those moments over and over again? Well, thanks to Apple (who, with this move, have cemeted all my future business and justified my past dedication) you can download the speeches for free from itunes! so all you have to do is download your FREE copy of itunes from apple.com, and you can listen to bill, barack, and the johns all you want! (and yes, apple is fair and balanced and will be offering the same service for the other kids in a few weeks - which may be good for something to laugh at - or if you need something to get angry at while you're at the gym . . . )
kerry and bush were in the same town in iowa campaigning the other day - literally 3 blocks from eachother. kerry was holding a serious economic policy town forum, while bush had pretty pictures taken next to a river . . . i'm not saying this is indicative of how the two men will govern (i wish bush only took pretty pictures next to large bodies of water and didn't have us unilaterally attack another country) but the media took notice of the coincidence and reported over and over again what the two were doing. i'd rather my president like economics over corn.
no one has posted anything on the message boards - i am thinking my earlier beliefs that this was read by more people than my dad were wrong . . .
did you ever meet someone and realize that they are another person you know, only like 8 years older?
