another update from the field . . .

things here are still going very well. tomorrow is the first day our volunteers are coming in, and so i'll be leading a field team out in hollywood, fl. which is great, cause i've done so much field in my days on campaigns. or really, none. should be an interesting day . . . but tomorrow is our smallest and easiest day with volunteers, so it'll be a learning process for everyone. on the bright side i really am learning a lot about this stuff, but i was starting from virtually no knowledge, except for that i knew what GOTV stands for (do you? it's Get Out The Vote). if you know anyone in fl looking for something to do - have them contact me, we totally need them and can put them to good use.

but bigger news . . . did you hear that bin laden endorsed kerry? happy october surprise! it's all a big thing down here, while he did stop short of saying "vote kerry" he did say "don't vote for bush" but then again the rest of his statement was very daming of the bush administration, basically saying they have done the opposite of what they say they have done . . . but what is kerry supposed to do - say bin laden is right? believe osama over bush? i'll be curious to see how the kerry camp will spin it. maybe something like "even the most evil man in the world knows bush is wrong"? i'm not sure - what do you think?
