everyone is coming out of the woodwork . . . recently i've gotten back into contact with all these people from high school - a goood chunk of whom i haven't spoken to since graduation really . . . it's interesting. but not surprising given that i am one of the "hottest women in washington" these days (see previous post).

onto politics! so everyone is jumping ship over at the bush white house. i know i'm personally excited to read colin powell's tell all - but then again i hope he write a tell all! and feminist that i am, i can't be happy about condi rice ascending to his position. she has NO diplomatic skills, and our current position in the world doesn't really allow for much of a learning curve - ugh. but for those of you that are political newbies - don't get all excited - a mass exodus before the 2nd term is actually quite normal - same thing happened with clinton - no worries. or rather, don't get excited - bush's ship isn't sinking, yet . . .

speaking of clinton - let's all wish him a happy presendential library opening!
