hey kids. i'm back. i know everyone has been waiting with baited breath to hear about the NDN Spring Soiree, as seen in The Note and The Hotline. well - good news, it was FANTASTIC! there were loads of people there and i raised my goal for the event ($10k - i rock). so things are good. although lord knows that even if i've been working my ass off for the past month to make this event so utterly fabulous i should not have a day of rest afterwards, and therefore i am still at work taking a quick sanity break. however, i did get a whole 20 minutes for lunch - which i spent basking in the gorgeous sunlight and 80 degree weather! i LOVE spring! :) many many many thanks to my friends who showed up - sarah, kat, mulli, courtney, jeremy, alexis, emily, christina, tara, and chester - mad props for being fabulous people.

on another note i still have a hard time understanding east coasters fascination with a west coaster, esp. when that east coaster is from long island and when the west coaster is from san francisco. i feel like it's kind of what first contact is going to be like someday . . .
