hate me if you must, but i've been a little too busy to blog. but i am back and now coming to you live from connecticut. it seems that since i've left dc everyone down there doesn't know what to do with themselves and the world is coming crashing down (see sandra day o'connor, matt cooper, karl rove and soon william rehnquist for examples). it's funny how out of the loop you feel when you're not inside the beltway, or hell even downtown. but things in ct are going great - i have digital cable to watch the tour and a "new" saturn ion 2 that is all mine, it only cost me my soul for the next few years - what a deal. i moved into my new place this weekend - which is amazing, esp compared to 1500 Mass Ave - mainly because it has a dishwasher - which is going to be broken in tonight (is it sad i am PUMPED about that?) my life is finally beginning to take some semblance of normally, esp since this morning marked my return to the pool - felt so good to be back - although the ct ymca is very different. exp. 1 - i had my own lane for the entire work out. esp. 2 - pool only has 5 lanes. exp. 3 - someone in the lane had the audacity to speak to me while i was doing my laps and invited me to join the training group workouts on tues and thurs morning. so far so good. although now that i'm getting ready for work in their lockeroom (no way i could find the conveinence of the rhode island y) i feel like i'm back in high school and doing morning workouts - i keep expecting to see bucket or kelsey turn the corner.

i've got to get back to work - but before i go - one last thing to brag about - in about 2 and a half weeks i will be participating in the mercedes benz road rally challenege - which will be like the real life test track ride at epcot - or for those who don't know - i will get to test drive all the new mercedes cars, but not test drive like drive around the block, test drive like swerving around cones, hitting the gas and then slamming on the brakes - all these VERY VERY awesome things. it pays to know the rich people up here in conn.
