hey hey. i'm back from another fabulous weekend in connecticut (no sarcasm, seriously). had a lovely saturday morning on the marina doing the mercedes road rally - though it did not live up to it's expectations (today you get to drive the mercedes cars on the real street, with other cars, like you were test driving it at a dealership! blah) so ivy and i took it upon ourselves to create our own test track like conditions. then we went to this head trip of a grocery store called stew leonards where you got to experience singing mile cartons/veggies/cows - you name it. if anyone has ever been to theearth pavillion at epcot - same thing. saturday afternoon/evening found us at the beach at old lyme for party which i enjoyed more than i imagined i would.

sunday i followed tradition and went to ikea. this week i bought a kick ass new dresser which i successfully built with lisa's help - probably one of the more complicated ikea peices of furniture i now own. gotta love the ikea.

things are going well in general, counting down the days till i go home. very excited to leave the huge mess of drama that is my life in connecticut behind for a few weeks.
