hello world - i'm back from boston. it was an amazing week - anyone who is not extremely proud to be a democrat right now hasn't been paying attention this week. all week we had amazing speakers, 6 months ago i was depressed thinking that the dems had no future, that our best speakers were behind us, but that is no longer the case, with people like edwards, hillary and obama waiting to move into 1600 penn ave we can become the majority party.

on monday i'll blog more, but i'm off to the farm for a few days to rest up from last week - it was an intense week filled with hard work all day and parties all night. it was awesome, but i will need to sleep for the whole weekend straight to begin to catch up!

before i go though - wasn't kerry amazing?! i have to admit that i was among the people who didn't think he could follow clinton, obama and edwards - but he did! and with force! the speech started a little slow - although i did really enjoy his opening line "reporting for duty" but as he went on i was just engrossed. it was incredible! that night ndn was hosting THE party in town - we had over 2,000 people there. anywho, we had all these big screen tvs set up and at 10 they were hooked up to the speech. as people started to file into the hall - filled with free alcohol, everyone just bypassed the bar and went straight to the TVs and sat in silence for an hour to watch the speech. and that is why we're going to win in nov.

i apologize for the delay and lack of blogging - it's been insane. i promise more soon - wait till this weekend - but to quench your appetite i will leave you with a few headlines:

old white men in suits
incredible energy in the fleet center
more signs than i would know what to do with
less than 3 hours of sleep a night
clinton, obama, edwards - kerry?

and one tid bit: at our event yesterday at a house across the street from john kerry's we had secret service, protestors, paparazzi and people leaning against gates trying to get a peek at the people inside . . . like me.

good god

hello world! ok, so last night, in true cali fashion, i walked into the fleet center to in jeans and birkenstocks. awesome. i got a call at like 8:45pm, right after ordering dinner from my boss saying she had credentials for me. at which point a huge rush to the fleet center ensued. we got in while jimmy carter was speaking and ran around to try and find seats - which we did - up in the nose bleed section. but either way, i was in the fleet center to see hillary and bill speak. the fleet center is incredibly small, the seats that we were in were way up - but they were the same seats that our poor $100,000 donors got. work calls. more updates later. quick note: literally ran into larry king and mo rocca. solid.

more, i promise.
