so who saw JK on the daily show last night? thoughts?

i think he did a fairly good job - he was a little stiff, but i think that happens anytime a politician goes up against jon stewart. and stewart obviously lobbed a few easy questions at kerry, but really - did you expect anything different? i think that kerry did what he had to do, and seemed relaxed and was able to deal with stewart real well.

it's becoming more and more obvious that stewart is now a big time player in the political world. whether he likes it or not. he has become THE avenue to reach voters who don't care to watch dan tom or peter. if i were the kerry campaign (or the dnc/moveon/ACT) i would start putting campaign commercials on during daily show commercials. but they couldn't be regular boring ads, they would have to be new and different. i guess moveon would be the people to do it. so there are my thoughts on the daily show phenom - what are yours?

2 questions for the world, or rather, two requests for the world:

1. anyone out there (in the DC metropolitan area) want to see Hero, the new Jet Li movie? (it's supposed to be AMAZING)

2. i've decided that cheese and crackers is not an appropriate dinner for a 22 year old (per kerem's advice), so if you have any ideas about quick, easy meals to make on a limited budget and time - feel free to drop me an email, or better yet - add a comment so everyone can enjoy it!!

ok, real small political thing: tomorrow, August 24th, Senator and Future President John Kerry will be appearing on the Daily Show. 11pm Aug 24, 7pm Aug 25. don't miss it. this is incredible.
