hello all! i expect you have been checking back all day, waiting for my response on the debate! well not to worry - here it is! first off, i'd like to point out a fallacy in the "so-called liberal media" - take the 2 washington newspapers, the post and the times. this morning here were the headline - post: "deep divide in domestic policy" times: "bush rips iraq flip flops" hmmm . . . which paper is bias here? ok, that's all. i'm done now.

on to the debate - we did great! well, maybe not great - and really no one did that well. cnn morning grind "kerry-3, bush -0: kerry was at his worst, bush was at his best, but kerry still won." i guess that games it out fairly well from this insiders perspective. that seems to be the consensous - here at the office everyone is convinced the election is over, or really it's Kerry's to lose. i don't believe there is any way bush can bounce back from these numbers, kerry is at 50 and bush is in the mid 40s. it's done. unless of course . . . every civic teacher's dream comes tru and there is a tie in the electoral college (very possible, maybe even probable this year) and the election goes to the house, where every state gets 1 vote - which means bush wins, again, without a mandate. how awesome would that be!? however, not to fear there is an erskwhile electoral college voter in west virginia who has pleged his support for bush, but has been telling people he might considering voting the other way should it come down to a tie. anyway, i guess that's all off topic. so yes, this debate went well, as well as the other debates anyway - i'll save my tirade on why these things are pointless and not real debates for another post. favorite lines of the evening? when bush called out the dan rather thing - that was terrible. or when he implied that homosexuality was a choice, that was also fabulous. what were your favorites?

well, is everyone pumped and ready for the last debate tonight? this is supposed to be bush at his weakest, we all know how much he has done domestically in the past 4 years - nothing. of course, this could also mean trouble for kerry - he has done a lot of domestic policy in his years in the senate and it may be very easy for him to slip into "senate speech" real easily. we'll see. we're having a big party here at work, our boss is taking the whole staff out to dinner (so i guess this means i'll be leaving work at a decent hour today - woo hoo!) and then to a local club for a debate watching party. yee haw. personally i don't think either guy is doing that well in convincing the public they could lead. bush just lies and sounds stupid and kerry makes me want to scream sometimes. let's all think back to the last debate when he was asked to say a simple phrase "i will not increase taxes onpeople who make less than $200,000 a year" straight into the camera . . . could he do this? NO! why not? cause he talks to much! very frustrating - i'm expecting more of that tonight.

have you all heard about the new story that bush may or may not have been wired during the debates? i think this is becoming a story with legs because both letterman and leno are talking about (sad when that becomes the measure) - letterman even did a game about it - "guess the bulge" or something. there are pictures from both debates where it seems apparant that bush had a wire of some sort - can't be a microphone, cause those are in front of them - so it is curious. but mainly this just shows how dumb people think he is - that to give the debate performance he gave (which sucked) he still needed karl rove telling him what to do. so eother way, be sure to check out bush's back tonight at the debate - or maybe they'll make the wire less obivous this time . . .

hello world! well life has changed dramatically since my last post - we live in a different world now, or at least i do. and here's why - so saturday morning i woke up, like it was a normal day - nothing special. i decided to go for a run, and headed down my normal route to the ellipse. as i run i noticed how busy it was down there - more than usual - i look over and notice that the tour of hope is in town, this should have been my first clue, but i kept on running. i got to consitution and saw all these people standing in the road looking down the street, i stoppd and asked what was going on, and yes, they told me lance was on his way!!!!!!! THE LANCE!!!! so i, of course, stop runinng and wait with these people, gushing about my eternal love for all things about the tour and lance. and here he comes, on his bike, rides right past me - had i wanted to i coudl have reached out and touched him! all these fools around me where like "which one was he, did we miss him" amateaurs . . . so yes - after years and years of waiting I SAW LANCE IN PERSON!!!!!!!!!!!!!! granted i am the last morozovsky to accomplish this feat - but whatever that's ok. my life now exists in two modes, pre-lance and post-lance and nothing pre-lance matters any more! and it turns out that in this post-lance world everything is better! the sun shines brighter, i find great deals on clothes at gap, anf the world in general smiles down on me. so welcome to the post-lance worl where colors are brighter, birds sing happier and everything is better :)
